Kristy Duncan – Registered Migration Agent
Kristy is a lawyer and registered migration agent. She leads our well-regarded migration practice, representing clients from across the globe. Kristy’s experience spans 30+ visa types including business, child, student, partner, parent, skilled temporary, skilled permanent, training, work and visitor to name a few. She also assists Australian businesses with nomination and sponsorship applications.
Kristy is well equipped to assist with tribunal cases and complex litigation. She has been praised for her forensic ability to unpack facts and evidence, study problems from all angles, connect the dots and build persuasive and winning arguments. These rare and valuable skills come naturally to Kristy and they set her apart from industry peers.
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Kristy has an intimate knowledge of life in Australia. She has moved abroad (twice) and she has sponsored a partner to Australia. Having lived what her clients will go through, she genuinely cares about providing the best service for her clients as they complete their migration journey.
With nearly 12 years’ migration experience under her belt, Kristy is a highly accomplished migration agent who has been continuously registered with OMARA since July 2008 under Migration Agent’s Registration Number (MARN) 0850693.
Responsibilities
Kristy is responsible for all aspects of case management which involves qualifying prospective applicants for an Australian visa, opening new client files, client liaison and working through the various stages of the visa application process.
Other responsibilities include immigration law research, developing and implementing migration strategies, business-to-business consulting, advocacy and tribunal work.
Rob Francken – Accounts & Billing
Rob migrated to Australia in 2008. His Australian journey started with a Working Holiday visa, followed by a Temporary Partner visa, Permanent Partner visa and finally Australian citizenship in 2017.
Having been through the process himself, he is aware of the perils imposed by the Australian immigration system and is keen to streamline the process for applicants today and in the future.
Rob has successfully completed a Certificate IV in Information Technology, a Diploma in Information Technology and completed a Bachelor degree in Information Technology in 2018.
Responsibilities
Rob’s primary responsibilities include accounts and billing and ensuring Migration Angels’ compliance in financial record keeping.
He is also responsible for maintaining and monitoring the company’s IT systems and has managed the design and development of the company’s client portal.
